Ladies in Waiting is a collective of professional Canadian independent musicians who came together under the auspice of hard work, creativity and harmony. Founders Andrea Ramolo, Kristin Sweetland, Melanie Brulée, Cindy Doire, Sarah Burton and Faye Blais grew the collective out of a near two-year residency at Toronto’s quaint music venue Not My Dog on Queen West. The mandate of the group is to inspire, support and present new independent musical creations and to provide other musicians and artists with a platform where they too can do the same.
