Toronto, ON

Bringing some light to all of our bleak midwinters and reflecting on the past year. I feel really good about the creative work I was able to accomplish in 2024 and so grateful to have been able to share it with the world. The momentum has inspired me to create even more and 2025 is looking just as fruitful.

Musically, I have a couple fun small projects on the horizon, some possible new collaborations and a vision for where I want to go with it all. Stay tuned. Photographically, I have a big anniversary coming up for my Adventures In Sweetland self-portrait series and am planning a large gallery exhibition for either late 2025 or early the following year. I’ve also officially begun work on a new book project that I’m more excited about than almost anything else. I have a brilliant editor and a pretty good plan so that’s not a bad place to start.

I’d also love to play more live shows in the coming year, as I’ve been missing it terribly. Hoping to present a glamorous event in Toronto sometime early spring before I jet off on other adventures… I’m also open to planning a couple mini-tours later in the year, so if you miss me and want me to come play a show in your town, definitely let me know.

Travel-wise the New Year is looking exciting as I have multiple destinations planned. In the spring I’ll be heading back to Europe for the first time since the pandemic, for both creative business and creative pleasure. I’m also hoping to make it back out West this year as I’ve been missing my British Columbia loved ones immensely. Between now and then, a Northern cottage writing retreat is in order —which will be a good reward for all the hard work of the festive season.

In the meantime, I’m going to focus on keeping the light shining inside of me, despite the weight of the world. For even though there’s much darkness about, there is a light that never goes out.

Sending so much love to all. Happy New Year.
