Happy May Day!
The ancient Celtic pagan holiday “Beltane” which is celebrated today has long been one of my favourite days of the year. Back in my youth, we would wake up at dawn to frolic amongst the Vancouver Island flowers and wash our faces in the morning dew. (This would apparently ensure that we would be loved for one whole year.) Unfortunately, the dew of downtown Toronto was a little more like cold drizzle this morning and the only thing I’ve been frolicking amongst are bursts of gale-force wind. It was blowing a bit too hard out for a nature adventure today so I spent most of my time inside, practicing my recorders and gearing up for exciting new projects to come.
Now, I am very pleased to announce that Part Two of my Trilogies EP series is currently under production. The songs are ready and I’m polishing up my performances in preparation for studio days in the last week of May. Can’t wait to share it with you.
More on all that soon…
Till then, here I blow!
xoxo
